The well established and widely acknowledged environmental benefits of Corrugated Packaging can be further supported by the use of responsibly sourced materials. The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) ensures that the harvestings of wood conforms to strict controls.  This far reaching Standard can also apply to the production and use of virgin fibre and recycled papers.  We have in place procedures that enable us to offer Chain of Custody (CoC) confirmation to our customers who instruct us of their requirements.  The supporting documentation relevant to each delivery of those items enables them to readily demonstrate compliance helping to meet the objectives of their own and possibly their customers' Environmental Policies.

We are committed to promoting protection of the environment: supporting charities and local communities; promoting equal opportunities; ensuring safe and efficient working practices; and working with customers/suppliers who uphold similar values.

Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.

Rigid Containers Ltd. welcomes the UK Government’s Gender Pay Gap reporting initiative and we believe that promoting equal opportunity throughout our business is essential for the individuals we employ and the future success of the company.

As a leading corrugated packaging company, Rigid Containers is proud to have a salary structure based on role and an individual’s contribution, not gender. Declaration of Compliance

Fibreboard corrugated products are manufactured utilising virgin, recycled and recyclable materials. Products incorporate B,C, RP flute in 2000-2500 deckle in single and double wall configuration from White Top Kraft and Test Liners, Kraft, Testliner and coated grades from 85gsm to 240gsm as well as glues and adhesives to meet customer requirements.

All products meet relevant legislation including The Packaging (Essential Requirements) Regulations 2015, The Producers Responsibility Obligations (Packaging Waste) Regulations 2014, FSC Forest Stewardship Council and The European Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive 94/62/EC.

All finished products are intended for use in ambient, chilled and frozen storage conditions as secondary packaging only and not as direct contact with food products.
