I don’t know what I want – can Rigid help design a box for me?

Yes of course we can.  With our highly skilled sales and technical teams we can offer a full technical and design service along with samples, so if you are unsure how you would like to package your product please ask us.  Indeed our in-house technical and development team will expertly lead you from the initial consultation right through to the final product making sure that the cases fit the design and aesthetic brief exactly and work seamlessly on your production lines.

Can I have a sample and when will I receive it?

Yes we can produce a mock-up for size and style only – the first three we do not charge for, after that we charge £5 per sample.  We work hard to get you samples within 48 hours but can do better if required.

Do you hold stock?

Yes Rigid will hold stock to ensure that you have your product available for next day call off.

Where do you deliver to?

Rigid will deliver anywhere in England, Wales and South Scotland.  Some areas may incur an additional transport charge depending on location and size of order.

Do you charge for 'last minute' and weekend deliveries?

Yes we will levy a reasonable transport charge for these services.

When is Rigid open for business and what happens if I need to contact someone outside of these hours?

Rigid is open for business on bank holidays and through the Christmas break and where arrangements have been made, through weekends as well.  We are open for telephone calls, emails and faxes from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday including bank holidays.  We are also open on Saturday mornings from 8.00am to 12.00pm.  If you need to contact Rigid outside of these hours, our sales representatives are available in emergencies.

Do you charge for cutting formes and printing dies?

The answer is yes but we are flexible in how this is achieved.  The most common methods are to invoice at origination or to amortise in the price of the case over a one-year period.

What are your lead times?

Again we are flexible but typically ex-stock is next day, repeat orders are day one for day three and initial orders take between three and five days.  However we will try to improve on this if there is an emergency.

What are your lead times for new prices?

Prices for 0201s should be turned around the same day and diecut work in two to three days.  However if you need them quicker we will try to improve on this.

Is your packaging environmentally friendly?

Yes, corrugated can be made from 100% recycled material and is also recyclable.
